I have only had my acer for about 180 days, and have never had any problems except for now. My charger stopped working. the whole laptop is now dead. I thought it was the adapter and i plugged it into another outlet to make sure it wasnt just the outlet but it still wouldnt work. I ordered a new ac adapter and plugged it in, but it still did not work. could it be my battery? I also noticed the pin where you plug in the adapter into the laptop is very loose. I have a one year warranty If anyone could help that would be great...I sent an email to acer but I have heard that may be an impossible feat to get an answer back...which i hope not.

Very likely the AC plug of the laptop isnt now soldered at the mainboard, making impossible recharge it. Probably it wouldnt be a thing too difficult to fix at home, soldering again the broke pin. But being still under warranty, better that Acer does the job.
