    acer 3810t + halflife1

    On the stock settings it would not play any of the HL1 engine games smoothly. (cs,day of defeat,etc)

    I fresh install win7, update drivers and it's the same deal. 10-15fps for a 10yr old game.

    Anyone got a timeline enjoying these games?

    There must be something very wrong.
    HL1 runs faster even on an Atom 800MHz + GMA950.

    i know it's supposed to run, but it doesn't. OTher games run fast yet hl1 mods don't. what the?!?!

    Which drivers are you using? Someone posted a link for the newest Win7 drivers, I'll search for it.
