    Is it possible to upgrade the processor in the acer 4501 to another pentium m? i heard somewhere (may be wrong) that the mobo can take up to a 1.8

    You should be able to upgrade the CPU to a faster Pentium M CPU since they're both Dothans (original & upgrade CPU). The main issue is getting to the CPU to upgrade it. You're gonna have to rip open your unit to get to the CPU.
