what are peoples views on the acer 4810t and core 2 solo? how do they handle everyday tasks and stuff like viewing video at 720p and outputting hd to a large tv via the hdmi port both normal and hd video.

also is there any benchmarks or tests on the core 2 solo's performance in games (LOL). i no its not a gaming machine but i want to see how it fairs compared to my ancent celeron machine that sits in my garage but surprisingly can play games like cs:s (not all maps) when combined with a budget nvidia card i got ages ago for about £30-40.

In most day-to-day tasks, the Core 2 Solo is good enough. However, 720p playback is only decent. Playing 480p would not be a noticeable drop in quality on the 4810T's native resolution, so if possible stick with that.
