    i bought a display unit of an acer 5100 didnt think to ask for the password for vista. i could call the store tommorow but im not sure if they would even know it. so what do i do? i didnt get a recovery disc with the system. does anyone have any ideas what i can do?

    after you turn the unit on the acer splash screen will appear just keep pressing alt + F10 together and perform a disk to disk recovery.. although that will probably be password protected anyway but its work a try :)
