Hi im new to acer and dont no much about computers!

When ever i used my Acer 5315 for about 5 mins of switching on it would become very slow freze and turn off.

So i did not no what to do. I was told to restore it to factory setings. So i used the big green E button at the top right to get that green toolbar thing up. Went on recovery i think, restore and set to factory setings. I think it then turned itself off and when i turned it on it went on to e recovery. But a bit into i went to put my laptop down and the battery fel out lol. And now when i turn it on all you get is the acer page then a black screen with a white flashing line at the top left. What can i do. All help will be much appreciated. Many thanks.

When you turn the laptop on, whilst on the acer screen press Alt+F10, this will startup the eRecovery.

Ensure that the D2D recovery option is enabled in your bios. (It's under main in the bios).

Acer Page? So i am guessing your BIOS Posts? Thats good news.

If you above doesnt work, you could always clean install your laptop.

Sounds like what you had was a bad worm/virus which caused some windows corruption.

Did you press ALT + F10

Did you go into the bios and make sure that D2D was enabled.
