This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     acer 5517 volume too low! How adjust?

    Playing movies downloaded from internet and cannot get volume loud enough. Looked at control panel, audio adj. etc. This is a real pain. Maybe there is something simple I am doing wrong! Thanks in advance.

    btw: laptop has earphone plugs-is this the problem-I need earphones?
