    hi guys i bought this laptop from best buy yesterday as an open item i got the laptop only no recovery disk come with it. i need your help to show me how to burn a erecovery dvd disk from d drive so i can able to use it later. cause i want to install win xp on this laptop to see if it will run any better.
    one more thing what do you think about this laptop is it a good reliable laptop or not? cause this is my first acer i ever own it is a 5570-s2609 , i think it running hotter than my other laptop i had.

    You use acer erecovery to burn disk they botton on bottom say burn disk images

    i can not find that e recovery icon or button anywhere in my computer to say burn disk images, can you show step by step.

    I have an aspire 1690 so i dont kno if this will work, but trying going to C:\Acer\eManager, then click on eManager.exe and go to the recovery option, hope this helps

    is your vista model but they shound be option in the erecover?

    there should be a widget bar at the top of the screen with all the options you need for any piece of software that acer supply for the machine; if its not present i suggest you perform a disk to disk recovery to restore this set of software to allow you to create a recovery dvd.

    thank guys i will try to figure out to recovery it if i can. what do think about this laptop is it any good?

    I got the same model at best buy a month ago. So far its been quite a good buy. The only thing is the short battery life and the wireless net adapter is short range. Good luck on yours!
