Hi everyone ... I've got a serious problem .... I've just bought a new acer 5610 z series with realtek high performance sound card .... Every time I play something out of any software I get sound problem .... sound like digital skip... really piss me off.... I've try many things from reinstalling drivers to uninstall Ide pimary and secondary and many otrher things .. any one as a clue how to repair this thing ! thx

Also I've changed from Vista to Xp cause i didn't lik vista .... maybe it could give you a hint

Well, I see that you have the same issue I do. I noticed skipping sound (more like the sound of a "stutter edit", for those music geeks who know what I mean) on DVD playback with Vista, but no issues with MP3 or other audio.
Then, a week ago, I gave up on Vista, and put XP up with all the latest drivers and such. Now, it's worse. Not only do DVDs do the same thing, but so do MP3's.
Talk about a step backwards.
Sure hope SOMEONE can help. If I find anything, I will be sure to post.
