sooooo i wanted to get this laptop but found two models..book have there pluses and minuses so i dont know which one to get!!!!!

5672 #1) this one has XP Professional and ati X1400 graphics card and two 1 gig sticks of RAM ( 2 gig ram total)

5672 #2) this one has XP Home ati X1600 graphics car dand two 512 sticks of RAM ( 1 gig ram total)

I SERIOULY DONT KNOW WHICH ONE TO GET!!!

i would go with 5672 #2, but the 5672 only has 2 RAM slots..
and #2 takes up both of them to only make 1 gig..
If i wanted to upgrade it...i would be forced to buy 2 new 1 gig sticks...which i dont really want to waste more money doing. and includes XP Home

    on the other hand..if i went with 5672 #1,
i would get 2 gigs of RAM already, XP Professional and X1400.

i heard the x1600 was way better than the x1400..and i wanna be able to play games...BUT 2 gigs of ram sounds sooooooooo nice

xp home..i can live with. xp pro sounds even better
y does acer have to make it sooo hard to decide

HELP!!!!!!!! IDK WHICH ONE TO GET!!!!!!!! SOO HARD TO DECIDED!!!!
and i soooooooo want to buy this laptop soooooooooooon.. :D

If you intend to play some of the latest games then your answer is clear: go with the one with X1600.

I would go with #2... well, I already did. The X1600 is definitely what you want. RAM can be upgraded easily enough, while graphics cannot. Personally, I haven't had any problems with just a gig in it. As for XP Pro/Home, you probably don't need the few additional features that Pro has.

Unless you're planning on doing some heavy multitasking, 1 gig should be fine for a while.
