This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     acer 5672 keyboard and touchpad not working (other drivers too)

    one day i start up my laptop to find that the touch pad was unresponsive at the user profile select screen. It worked ok in safe mode and bios. hmmmm. after reloading the OS and all that kind of stuff still i had the same problem. I then read on another website:

    that all you have to do is take out the battery and it will be ok.
    so now i just need a new battery and not a mother board.
    I still really hate acer. My next laptop will be an apple or an IBM(lenovo)
