Hi guys, i need some information regarding installing original bluetooth in an Acer aspire 5920g.. i know it has been discussed in the past http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=140597 but since this thread is locked i guess i have to ask in a new thread..
The ones who tried it, how easy was it? from the manual it didn't seem too hard the only think that seems kind of dificulty was removing the keyboard..Is there any trick for it?
Also what is the odd module? :)
Regarding the heat grease, it was mentioned in the other thread
    "Heat grease:
When re-assembling and when you're about to put in the thermal module, make sure there's adequate heat grease on the CPU (don't put TOO much on). Sometimes taking off the thermal module can upset the heat grease, you want to make sure there's a good thermal path for the CPU."
Is this, only in case we notice that there isn't adequate amount? or should be applied some in any case?

ODD is the optical disc drive or in other words - the cd/dvd burner.

Thermal grease(or paste) is a compound used to ease the transfer of heat from the CPU/GPU to the heatsink. It's usually applied when you upgrade the CPU, you're cleaning the old one and put the new one. When you do that optionally you can apply it on the GPU(again, first you need to clean the old one.). This is recommendable especially if you use good thermal grease like AS5, the notebook manufacturer usually use cheaper ones.

Oh, by the way, keep in mind that sometimes instead of thermal grease the manufacturers use thermal pads. No grease needed to applied there although technically you can but once again, you'll need to remove the pads.

thank you very much, according to the pics, it looks more like thermal pad than grease..
By "thermal module" we mean the part that cools down a hardware part?

as for the bluetooth modification itself, anyone who have removed keybaord? that clip part seems kind of difficulty..
