I have previously installed new audio driver (Realtek HD) for my Acer 5920 (driver ver. 1.70). Everything worked fine. Now I tried to install new audio driver (v. 1.73). Setup ran smoothly. But after turning the computer on, I was really surprised. Instead of "Realtek high definition speakers" with all these sweety features (Dolby Digital tab, Acer HD control panel, etc.) there were only... Microsoft drivers, Microsoft HD speakers... And of course - no Dolby Digital, no Acer HD CP, etc.
Fortunately, I have prepared restore point and used it.
Do someone know how should I properly make this audio driver update? Some additional installation, or something else?

are you running the exe or zip.
I am downloading the zip now and check if I have the same problem or not.

I have remove my previous driver and installed the lastest 1.73, everything is normal. There is no microsoft drivers or HD speaker. I have all the dolby digital tab and HD control panel.

It was .zip file. I have managed to install drivers "manually" (Control Panel / System / Device Manager / Audio devices / Update driver / pointing to the directory with audio drivers). In such case Realtek drivers are found and everything works fine (there is Dolby Theatre tab, Acer HD in Control Panel) :)
    Thank you for the help!
