    acer 5920 xp internet connectivity

    i bought an acer 5920 few days back and after installing the necessary drivers for connecting to the internet using a dial up modem, the notebook does not connect. the modem gives the message as verifying username and password and the system reboots giving an error message on a blue screen. pl help
