    acer 5920G Black screen

    about to make an order and wanna make sure this will work in my acer 5920G

    right now my acer 5920G will not display on screen do to bad video card 8600M GS

    will this work in my laptop " Plug and play " : ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650 MXM II VGACard 512MB HD3650 - eBay (item 290513726392 end time Feb-16-11 00:19:04 PST)

    no updates to bios needed?
    IT says in the ebay ad: Acer 5920G and Fujitsu-siemens model may have compatible problem with this card, Buyer should take own risk to buy it !! So that concerns me..

    I have taken pics and uploaded them to the forum to show you my old non working card...

    I bought the exact same (from mokkin @ ebay) for my Compal FL90 - works like a charm.

    Of course, no one can give you a guarantee it will work.

    But check this thread, 5920 + 3650 = OK.

    well i rather take the risk, if you ordered from him then he must be trust able ... I just hope I do not have to do a bios update ? because I was running 8600m .. now cant start the computer to do a bios update even if I wanted to...

    Well I just paid for it on ebay and he will ship it soon, I hope this will work for me ...
