Hi guys, I've got acer 5920g with 8600m gt gpu and from yesterday i've got blank screen. The good thing is that it works with external monitor. Nvidia control panel doesn't detect the internal lcd at all neither fn+f5,6 helps. What do you recon got wrong, the inverter or the lcd? Or the gpu ?
There were no previous symptoms of gpu or screen failures.

    Regards

Just tested the lcd on another lappy and it works, unfortunately the other lappy has different inverter and no mxm ii slot. New inverter is on the way, i hope this is going to solve the problem. What do you think about the oven trick, "baking" the gpu?

Wait for the inverter- if it fails to help then you might want to try an oven trick but don't expect too much. I had to replace a card in an identical situation and oven trick did nothing.

ROFL problem came again. Usually i use my lappy without the battery as stationary pc. The only unusual thing i did both times was to insert the battery in while the lappy is on. When i was done i switched the lappy off with the battery in and then i've got the problem. Do you think that the battery has something to do with it or wrong, any advise is wellcome.
Just contacted the seller of the inverter, i hope i will get a recovery

    Regards,
