Im just making this post to see if its just happening to me or if others might have had this issue.

I've been dealing with the fallowing.

Audio issues, "while playing world of warcraft. most attempts at running background audio like music or team speak results in under water gargle sounds as if the sound card cant run two programs with audio at the same time"

I've reinstalled the drivers, and tweaked with the sound settings and more without any positive solutions.

Video card issues, "video card is a 9500m GS however has been having frame rate issues with world of warcraft and other basic games. I've tried to find updated drivers of the video card online with sad results from acer's side with their lack of work on updates."

I've called in and was given the option of sending in the machine, but do to lazyness i didn't. i could get that option again since the machine isn't even a year old.

if the people of the forum assume as much as i do that this is a Hardware issues and the only way to fix it is going down to the post office. I will.

Relating to the video card, I think it's the drivers causing this so try update them, try one of the following links :
from NVIDIA site Forceware 179.28 beta
and also check out this one, this site is specialized in driver updates.. you should check there for new compatibile drivers.
    Hope this will help

P.S. I currently use the drivers from Nvidia site. I had some problems with the ones from laptopvideo2go. They are more tweaked but you can try to see if they work too. They seem to have more realeases, but not all will be compatibile.

one of the main issues with the video card i've posted is that i was told by ether a website or Acer tech support that those video cards are given to the computer manufacture and from their the "dell,hp,acer, ect" make up the drivers to suite the machine they are put in.

but i guess ill give it a go with that link. thanks. i see that its on the list. interesting

Acer support and other manufactures do not update the drivers as fast as you might expect, instead some people do..
Now Nvidia has just began releasing drivers for notebooks so this seems great. Cause they might fix problems! :) but laptopvideo2go is really an amazing site.

the beta drivers aren't installing for some reason. i uninstalled the old drivers rebooted and ran the .exe for the beta 179.28, however when its all said and done and i go to the control panel its says the old drivers 7.15.11.7928 is installed. or am i reading it wrong? or am i really confused?

because the drivers i was running on came from acer's website, which i downloaded a while ago.

Drivers from the Acer website are out-dated from what I see.
If you are unsure if they are installed or not I suggest that you go to Safe Mode, by pressing F8 after POST and then try to uninstall the current version - reboot - go again to Safe mode install the beta 179.28
Btw if in device manager writes 7.15.11.7928 its currently installed. Windows just reads like this. It's 179.28.

Have you checked the Realtek driver? or look for some options in Recording devices properties.. maybe it's a feature enhancement there that is not good configured.
I saw that Realtek has a new driver so give it a try or look in-game for how to config your teamspeak program or WOW settings..
Frist check that your microphone is working properly.

its been a thing that has been happening for a while. i turned off the "virtual surround sound" to just normal stereo however get the same issue. ill start installing those driver updates ... only 3 but ok lol.

    but
    RTL8100B(L)/RTL8100C(L)/RTL8101L/RTL8139C(L)
    RTL8139C(L)+/RTL8139D(L)/RTL8100(L)
    RTL8130/RTL8139B(L) (Software)
i dont know what thats about. i dont think i need this.

    but ill download both
    High Definition Audio Codecs (Software)
    AC'97 Audio Codecs (Software)

unless i only need one. in device manager it's listed as Realtek High definition audio. so should i just install the first one?

The Realtek site is not so good. So here is a link for the latest drivers -> download this. I don't know if this will help. I think its probably from settings or something.
