Hey everyone, I am unable to burn cd's and dvd's with my laptop. I'm have upgraded my laptop to windows 7 professional 64bit. I was wondering if anyone else who have upgraded their acer 6920g's with the bluray drive have experienced this problem. or if it is a hardware issue. Hope you people can provide me with assistance thanks.

Able to burn CDs and DVDs fine after the upgrade on my system.
What are you using to burn - it might be a software issue.

Try something like ImgBurn to see if that works - it'd help rule out a software issue.

    Hi,
Have you checked device manager if there are any errors indicated?
You may also try this: Your CD or DVD drive cannot read or write media
Itunes has a very bad reputation for disabling optical drives
