    acer 6935g Always dim

    hi folks, i was gaming on my laptop when i decided to take a pee break. When i returned the screen was extremely dimmed. Ive tried:-

    1)reinstalling my graphics drivers
    2) making sure the power plan settings were the same as before (max brightness)
    3) tried fiddling with the brightness and nothin changed
    4)i dont have any restore points

    i hope nothing has burned:s Yet again i need your wisdom.

    Have you tried holding down FN + right arrow key ?
    In the manual it says theyre the keys that invoke the brightness controls.
    Also this problem emerges in Acer 6935g if you have installed the newest nVidia drivers version 195.62.
    Revert back (or reinstall) to older version 186.81 and the brightness control should work just fine.
