    I had the same issue but I went to laptopvideo2go for drivers and updated them. (I'm using a broadcom chip wireless in my 7720g) What make is your wireless, e.g. intel...

    @eggmeister
    Please learn how to help us help you. When asking questions such as this one, in addition short description of the problem (which you did provide) please specify your operating system, is it 32 or 64 bit, manufacturer of affected hardware and exact model name and anything else that could be helpful. Or even better, if you plan to stick around here it would be easier to just post your system specification in your signature.

    If you don't know how to obtain needed information, post that too so someone could help you.

    On topic: I have Intel 4965 AGN and never had any problems with it. :)

    Thanks for the replies!

    It has the intel wireless adapter for starters, it's running windows vista 32 bit and has only recently started malfunctioning

    The wired lan port is functioning perfectly, just the wi-fi causing the problem!

    Hmm, try updating the drivers from the website I listed before might help. Otherwise the Wlan is on its way out, which means you may have to buy another one to replace the old one.

    Thx for the reply Hexxor, I tried a restore last night to factory settings and hey presto, my wireless came back to life!

    This came after the intermittent wireless problem became permanent, it wouldn't work at all, and I was of the same opinion as you, but then a restore brought it back up.

    I think the problem is windows and Acer e-management related, because at one point windows was showing the adapter working perfectly but the intel diagnostics saying it was broken or disabled!

    I've disabled acer e-management and am updating all drivers and windows updates at the moment, will post hopefully good things later!
