    acer 8202 wont charge

    Hi i have a acer 8202 wlmi laptop and recently the battery doesnt charge anymore. it remains on 3% all the time dispite leaving the AC on it all night.. i dont know if its the battery or not. the laptop works when i connect the AC into it but has soon as i disconnect it the laptop automaticly shuts down.


    any advice please? thanks

    I had a battery that didn't charge at all either. The batter light would just keep blinking.
    Turns out, the battery totally died (after less than 10 cycles, i never used the battery until i found out it was dead).
    Check to see if your battery is part of the acer recall.

    how can i check that? the battery on mine is now completely dead has it has 0% battery life!! i have got an older acer asper 1682 lappy that still goes strong for nearly 3 years now yet this one i have only had it for over a year!

    acer support has quoted me that the battery replacement will cost over £200!!!

    any guys from uk advice me on a cheaper place on the internet which sells batteries? thanks

    they are cheaper but u never know .. I don't beleive the battery costs 200 pounds o_o that's way too expensive ..
