    iv'e heard that there is a core 2 quad processor in te new versions of acer 8930G is that correct

    Yes but its not so new its been out some time now comet uk had it in there store months ago but it was around £1,200-£1,400

    Thats why i didnt get that one i went for the Core 2 Duo T6400 2.0ghz same speck as the £1,400 one just the prossessor is differant and the price is half the cost of the quad care

    In my eyes not worth the extra £££££££££££££
