    hi all
new here, got an acer 9301 been lovely laptop, i install 2x 1 gb of ram about a year ago runs ok,
so i thought i'll upgrade to 2x 2gb of ram (total 4 gb)
installed both 2gb strips and laptop just goes in to a startup, screen saying windows failed to load, start in safe mode, press safe or normal mode, it loads a few files then re-boots, and this loop of startup, failed to load, safe mode or normal, load a few files, reboot

tested each strip of ram on there own and laptop boots ok
    i'm on bios version 1.06
i've read threads on other sites saying its a bios fault, and only a few bios work with 2x 2gb of ram
    acer supprot are NO help

    please help
