    when i plug my laptop via s-video to any tv picture on tv is always black and white what to do to make it coluor

    pleasae help asap

    You might want to re-adjust the color settings and stuff on the laptop when you hook it up to the TV. I had the same problem on my old HP.

    i tried everything in display properties->settings->advanced->displays->TV I've changed resolution to 800x600, 640x480 and even colours system to pal B

    i've got cable from my old gainward GF3 ti 200 pluged to my laptop cable works fine on old computer is it possible that cable is the problem

    mate ive had this exact problem with every PC i've had. Ive tried 2 PC's a Laptop, 2 Sony TVs and a Bush TV. Ive used S-Video, component, etc .. its ALWAYS B & W. Ive made the settings PAL-I, the TV is set to Pal.. i can only assume its something im overlooking.
