anyone run the acer as5002 with ddr400 chips?

i just took out my 2 ddr33 256mb chips and replaced them with 1 ddr400 1gig ram chip. i'm using everest home edition and it's showing my memory speed at PC3200 (200mhz).
the normal speed with the 2 ddr 256mb chips in shows as PC2700 (166mhz)

and is it safe to keep the ddr400 in alongside the ddr333?

i'm expecting this laptop to stay stable on memory usage and be online alot.

    It should be stable

When you put in the DDR333 stick the DDR400 stick *should* be backwards compatible. You do realize once you put in the DDR333 stick your memory will be at 166MHz right?

yup i know that it should clock down. just was never sure how stable something like this is.
also i dont plan on using ddr333 and ddr400 alongside for now. as is, i'm trying to sell the ddr333 and buy another ddr400. so i just hope the two ddr400 will run at normal speed, stable and not over heat or anything stupid like that lol, i dont know i'm not a hardware guy :p
