I have an acer aspire 1691 wlmi from almost a week and the battery is act very strange. All I get is 1 hour and 20min from a full load with normal use(not games or encoding, not wifi). The battery has 2200mA with this code 4aur18650f-qc141. I asume that is not normal, is anything I can do? Can I discover how many cells has? The acer is second hand, but not to much use, the charger is the original.

A 2200mAhr battery is a 4 cell battery. You're doing ok if you can get about 1h20mins from a fully charged 4 cell battery. Getting the 8 cell battery (4400mAhr) can give you close to 4hr battery life.

Do a search under my username and you'll find some posts related to this topic as my Acer had a 4 cell originally and I now use the 8 cell battery that I purchased separately.

Yes, that's a 4-cell battery. It will not give you good battery life - I suggest going out and picking up an 8-cell, because as cman says, you can get almost double the battery life. ;)

Thanks Cman, now I have to buy a real battery. Around 130 euro in Germany.
