    acer aspire 1692 or ferrari 4002

    Hi ,

    which one should i choose ??? The 1692 has a centrino 1.73 ghz , with 1 gb ram , 15.4 glossy screen , 100 gb HD , X700 128mb GC , 65 wh battery pack .
    The Ferrari has the Turion 1.6 ghz , 512 mb RAM , 80 GB HD same screen and GC , 71 Wh battery pack .
    It will be used as a complete replacement for pc , which is a 3.0 ghz pentium 4 , with 512 mb ram and 9600XT GC . I will be using it a lot ( more then 5 hours a day ) and when i'm home i use dual screen option with a 17 inch TFT monitor ( both screens used ) . When i'm not home i need the tv - out for watching movie from HD or DVD . Battery time is important for me so this is a big difference between the 2 . The centrino is more power efficient ( can even install a prog which even let's me run the processor at lower voltages then standard ) , the Turion uses more but since it is the 4002 , it runs at 1.6 ghz so probably uses a littlebit less then the 4005 . Also the battery pack is bigger from the ferrari . Which one will give me the longest life on battery ??? I also need a min of 1 gb ram , which the 1692 allready has , but both can be upgraded to 2 gb ... nota real problem there .
    Then X700 GC , well i play occasionally games , like C&C Gen. but probably not when i'm on battery .
    Main use of the pc , internet with banking business . i mean 5 6 internet screens open at the same time . A lot of numbers and heavy Java use . That is why i need the 1 GB ram , 512 mb on current pc brings me in trouble regular . The proc isn't doing a hard job .
    The casing , well , clear winner for the Ferrari since build from carbon fibre while the 1692 is plastic . The looks , well , the Ferrari looks great but the 1692 i like also , it is different .
    Any of you has opinions on what i should buy ??? Oh yes , the Ferrari costs me with the extra memory about an extra 200 euro .
    The Ferrari also has a 5400 , 80 GB HD end the 1692 has a 100 GB 4200 HD . So the Ferrari is quicker here .

    Another option is to go for the travelmate 4102 which has more or less same like the Aspire 1692 but only has 64 mb of memory on the X700 card . It doesn't have the Cristalbright screen also . The battery life of this configuration should be longer according to Acer site ...
    Opinions ???
