Please does anyone know whether the aspire 1710 supports extended desktop (i.e. windows can be dragged from the laptop screen onto an external monitor, thus doubling the desktop size)?
Any info will be much appreciated

It should since my Aspire 1703SM (an earlier version of 1710) supports it either on the External VGA or the S-Video connector.
