    acer aspire 3100 usb problem (help)

    my aspire usb transfer slowed down 4 days ago a bit like usb1 but slower ,i thought it was in my head but my brother has the same laptop and his must be 3 to 4 times faster to transfer files to the same usb hd

    i just want a bit of advice with where to start i guess it might be a driver problem but i cant find any drivers for usb2 and it has sp2 installed
    i have tryed driver roll back and it tells me that there is no driver to roll back to
    should i try uninstalling the usb driver ???

    Hey,

    I have exactly the same problem and I have only had my laptop for a few days. It only seems to be slow when I have quite a few things plugged in (such as USB mouse, headset and cooler). My mouse and headset then seem to act slow and lag.

    I don't know why this is happening but it is rather annoying. Can anyone help?
