    hello,

I have 2 laptops from acer, one of them is totaly broken screens and etc. i want to put CPU i7 740QM from my ICONIA in my aspire 4820tg-488g75mnkk.

    So my 4820TG-488G75Mnkk equipped with a Core i5 480M.

the socket seems to be the same PGA988, but when i put the i7 in replacement of the i5, the computer don't want to start, the power button only blink once....and then nothing.

When i put back the i5 everything is fine.

aspire is updated with latest bios 1.25 before test with new CPU...
in "read me" file from bios it's look bios support CORE Clarksfield of i7-740qm from the first version of bios...

i need advise what to do>>???!?!!?
    thanks for your help !
