Hi, to all guru's out there. I've tried to pinmod my 5504 after getting a used PM725 400mhz 2mb cache. After plugging in the PM725 processor my acer can't boot up. Power is on, fan spinning but no display. So i thought maybe the processor was a spoilt unit. And i put in my stock pm740 but to my horror, my pm740 was only running at 400mhz instead of 533. So now i'm left with running only at 1.3ghz full speed. Its suppose to be 1.73ghz@533mhz. Now my sonamo have downclock to a dothan instead. What could be wrong, processor problem? It was running fine until i've tried the pinmod which was unsuccessful. Tried 2 pinmod, shorting c15&c16 and b16&c16. Both also didn't work. Any help will be appreciated. By the way have tried to reflash the bios.
