I have an aspire 5520 that i got from walmart, and what i did like a dummy was accidentaly re-partitioned my hard drive like 2 times, and now my recovery partition is gone forever,i called acer and they wan't $200 to re-image it at the factory, i can't afford that right now.
So does anyone have a partition image that is similar to the 5520 that i can have?
    Any help would be appericiated.
    Thank You

yeah i asked them if the recovery cd would re-partition my drive and they said no that i would have to send it in and they would re-image it for $200,s*** that.
I just need an image file sent to me so i can get things back to normal.

Its pointless to have it back, If you have the DVD. your dvd is equalent as having your recovery partition

yeah your right,i just like to have things the way they were, i have read on some forums about using mbrwrdos and rtmbr.bin and tried that but nothing happend, i know i need all the files to do that,i wish i would have made an image of the whole system then i could get it back,i guess i'll have to go back to walmart and buy another system just to get it back.
