    acer aspire 5520. Downgrade from vista to xp

    I need to downgrade my acer aspire 5520 from vista to xp pro. I just can't seem to get it working. If i put my xp cd in the cd drive i can't choose the option to install windows xp. Anyone able to help me?

    You can't install XP over vista without a third party software.So
    burn back up disc for vista,format hard drive, set boot order to boot to cd to install XP.Before you do that check to make sure you can get drvers for XP or
    you'll be back here looking for the drivers. Good Luck.
