acer aspire 5535 HELP!

ive had this laptop a while now and about a year ago this problem started:

everytime i watch a youtube video/flash game / fps game etc it works fine for about 5 minutes then its makes a noise (maybe fan whirring) and all the video starts jumping/lagging, i think it may be something to do with the processor but i am not sure,

also after about 20 mins use of the laptop it gets extremely hot (burns lap) so i started putting it on a table with a cooling fan underneath but i still get the same lagging problems and still gets hot ( i have also cleaned it out with a compressed air cleaner to get rid of dust).

so any help would be greatly appreciated.
