    acer aspire 5672 wont boot

    acer aspire 5672 battery charger has green light, steady. Notebook, battery light will not light up when plugged in. If I take the battery out and plug in the batter light on the notebook blinks amber about 7 times.
    Is the charger bad? Battery need to be replaced?
