i recently bought a second hand aspire 5672wlmi. when i plug in the battery charger it works perfectly fine for as long as possible, but no matter how long i leave it in the charger it always indicates that the battery life is 0% and switches off as soon as i unplug the charger. when i leave it in the charger for a while and turn it on it gives me an error message that says "WRONG BATERY INSERT THE CORRECT ONE OR PRESS ANY KEY", and switches off as soon as i press any key. i went online to see if i could find the right one but all the batteries compatible with my laptop are exactly the same as the one i have, 14.8V/4400mAh. i do not want to buy a new battery only to experience the same prroblem, please help.

Sounds like the battery is defective . . . I would be asking whoever you bought it from for some money back
