hi, hopefully someone out there knows the answer. i want to know my max ram upgrade. everywhere i have checked says 8gb with 2 slots. upon opening my laptop, i see that i have 4 slots. the closest i have come to anyone suggesting using these is to still have 8gb max with 2gb in ea.
the mother board is a ZR7, and im running 64 bit windows. not sure what other info to use to find this on my own. thanks for any help.

Thanks! This one is the 5745g-6726. The ram slots do look the same. I will most likely just go with 2 more 2 gb sticks. If i did put more than it could handle, would it damage my laptop?

No it wouldn't damage anything- it just wouldn't boot or wouldn't detect some of the RAM.
