    i repair pcs but this has me puzzled
    the user cracked the oem screen she then bought a new one and attempted to replace it herself now neither of them work cannot find any loose connections
    can someone tell me if i am just overlooking something

    Have you connected an external up to it and see if that works?

    just got the chance to right now i have tried both the hdmi and the vga neither of then producted any image

    Do you know if the user dismantled the whole machine or just the screen unit before, doesn't sound good.

    Check all of the cables and ribbons, make sure they are all connected correctly, also check RAM, CPU etc, make sure none of them have been unseated.

    If this fails, it could be a distinct possibility either the motherboard has been damaged or the GPU.
