    Hey all,

I use nhc/speedfan and I'm constantly getting around 88 to 91 degrees using this laptop. Been like that since I got it a little over a year ago. I have a nice laptop cooler. It has three 120 fans in it. It still maxes out at 91 degrees. I'm planning on getting an alienware in the soon future but for now I need a solution. I was told that perhaps cutting the removable bottom or drilling holes might be the solution. If you were to look at the bottom of this laptop it really seems like the design for vents were random and ignorant.

Is there some sort of custom cutting or drilling I can do to help? Any ideas? Is just removing the bottom panel a bad idea?

Also, I'm going to attempt to open it up and get the dust out. Anywhere where I can get some help on this? Where exactly is the heat sink? Haha not a hardware guy at all.

Maybe that would help you :)

As chunlianghere suggested, you can also try to remove the whole heatsink and apply new thermal paste. But if you are not sure what are you doing, just try this from the pic, it should be enough.
