    i want to put a second hard drive in my laptop and i cant find where to get a second connector can anybody help me?

    Do you mean the black plastic interconnect bit. You will also need the HDD cage, screws etc as well.

    Check out the usual acer parts suppliers . . I am sure they will be orderable parts

    Try Ebay and use the parts from

    HP DV9000

    you might have to mod them but it will save you about $50

    were you able to add an extra harddisk for your 7730Z?

    I want to do the same, but how where is the available "slot" to do it?
