    acer aspire 7730 hdd connector

    i want to put a second hard drive in my laptop and i cant find where to get a second connector can anybody help me?

    Well here are the locations, if it doesn't have the second connector, could be difficult to find/solder.

    Do you mean the black plastic interconnect bit. You will also need the HDD cage, screws etc as well.

    Check out the usual acer parts suppliers . . I am sure they will be orderable parts

    Try Ebay and use the parts from

    HP DV9000

    you might have to mod them but it will save you about $50

    were you able to add an extra harddisk for your 7730Z?

    I want to do the same, but how where is the available "slot" to do it?
