The bluescreen you are getting may not be related to the bios upgrade you have have recently done.

Do you know what error codes you were getting when you got the bluescreen. One thing you can do is to upload the minidump file that is created when you have a Bluescreen error (BSOD), this stores information about the BSOD and can lead you to the error.

    If you go to:

C:>windows>minidump>*******.dmp and upload these file(s). Then myself or someone else can have a look.

Also, if you do a system recovery, this will not resotre the bios.

thats what i get from the problem reports solution

    Consider BIOS upgrade

Microsoft is unable to determine the exact cause of this error. However, this problem was most likely caused by an error in your computer’s random access memory (RAM). RAM is the main internal storage area the computer uses to run programs and store data.

During the crash analysis, we noticed the basic input/output (BIOS) system version on this computer does not match the specifications for the central processing unit (CPU), also known as a processor, that is installed on your computer. This can occur when a newer processor is installed on an older system board or older BIOS. Using a BIOS that does not support the installed processor can result in Windows system crashes. Contact your computer manufacturer or motherboard manufacturer for an updated version of BIOS for your computer's processor.

    17mayis,
You might consider re-downloading the 1.10 bios (download it on a computer with no problems), then re-flashing it. You might have had a bad flash. Make sure you have your laptop plugged into power when flashing.

If that does not help, it could be that one of your ram chips has gone bad.
Download memtest(sp?) and run it at post, results of that should indicate whether your ram is OK or not.

Failing that and you still have problems, call customer service.
    Good luck.

Another thing i've just thought of. Did you make a backup of the original Bios before you flashed it. If so, you can revert back to that.
