i have had this laptop for almost a year and it worked with no problem. now all of a sudden (actually a month so far) i am only getting limited internet access. when i boot up my computer i can surf the web for anywhere between 10 minutes to an hour before i start getting the cannot display the webpage message. i am connected to the internet but cannot access any websites. i diagnose, diagnose, diagnose and all i get is nothing is wrong with my internet connection. i have done everything i could think of- making sure i wasn't on powersave, contacting my internet provider, taking it in for servicing, disabling my firewall, etc., etc. no matter where i go or how i connect i still have this problem. acer has not been able to help me. right now i am using a broadband wireless card and am still experiencing the same problem. has anyone had this issue or can anyone give me any insight or suggestions. please help!!!!

i would try the LAPTOP at a local WIFI HOTSPOT... or at a friend's house who has a WIFI setup..

it sounds like you could have a router that is acting kinda flakey.....

you could try resetting the ROUTER, but you will have to re-SETUP the router's settings if you do a FULL RESET by using a paperclip to push in the recessed reset switch.

try it at different locations... if problem doesn't occur at other sites it's most likely your router
