Hey all.. just bought an acer aspire 7739.. anyone have any issues with a buzzing noise when using ear phones.. no buzzing through the speakers though. And I noticed when I adjust the screen brightness the buzzing noise changes and does go away when brightness is on full. Thanks in advance much appreciate any help.

The only sure way to know would be to try another 7739.

I suspect that it will actually still be buzzing through the speakers... it's just that as the speaker sensitivity is so much lower than with 'phones you just aren't hearing it. Phones themselves vary enourmously in sensitivity (how much signal for a given S.P.L. or sound pressure level). So if they are high (say 115db/mw) then any interference will be more audible than on phones with say a 95db/mw rating).

The fact that it changes with screen brightness to me suggests it's more of a design issue than a fault. Yes, it should be silent but there may be nothing you can do about it on this model.
