acer aspire screen going white

acer aspire 6930g 64 windows 7 ultimate. hi im having problems with my screen when i turn my lt on my screen keeps going white ,i have tryed a few things like my performance moniter keeps loging different programs crashing as the problem so ive been trying everything now ive had this system installed in a 1 shop and ive just sussed that theyve only put win7 32 bit version on it instead of the 64 bit win7 since they installed that i had a new screen put in it seems fine when its on its a lower resoloution 1366-768 instead of the 10 80 full hd but on power up or coming out of standby the screen loads up empowering then turns white but it goes all lines and fuzzy for a second then stays white for a minit then loads up the windows normal screen mostly but sometimes i get a blue screen saying blue screen problem with loads of writing with whats wrong then it shuts of fast so i cant read what it says.anyway i have got the 64 bit windows 7 cd here but dont no weather or not it is the operating system causing the problem as it was origanaly on vista 64 home any 1 help or any suggestions please
