I have an acer c100 tablet but no restore cds. Acer does not offer them for the unit after warrantee expires and I am going to sell the unit and want the buyer to have recovery possibilities. So what can I do?
Purchase windows XP and do a clean install - then what about the tablet software and proprietary ACER software not on the XP CD?
The system is running OK, is ther a way to use XP to create restore disks for the tablet?
Or do I need to locate a crashed C100 and buy the original cd's from that unit and use its Certificate of Authenticity for the install?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
By the way - drive C shows 29 gig with no partitions, I thought Acer used a shadow partition or is this on newer models?
