hey guys, ive just recently brought a acer timelineX 4820tg and is currently filling out for the $99 cashback. acer are now offering other software and warranty instead of the cashback they are:
    1) fallout 3, demigod and a tomb raider games
    2) extra 2 year warranty.
just wondering which one i should go for? any help would appreciated as i only have a bit of time left to finish form :(

What cash back are you talking about? I bought a 4820TG recently and didn't see anything about a cash back. Can you specify details. Thanks.

um you have to go on the acer website to see it. Under the product section there is a section called cashback. that said im not too sure if this is limited to australia or not as the acer site i went onto was the australian one :S but no harm in trying i guess. hope this answer your question :)
just checked the US acer site, there wasnt a cashback section, so im assuming this is only avaible in australia :( sorry about the bad news

    Ah thanks for the info.

I would personally go for the extended warranty or if you're really short on cash, you can go for the $99 cash back. Not really sure the games are worth it.

I would say the cash! The games are certainly not worth the cash offer and the warranty is not worth any more than the paper its printed on. If your looking to upgrade it in the next 2 years (highly possible) no point anyway!
