hello, I have a problem with my acer desktop. I don’t hear any sounds, could it be a driver problem? I don’t know, not sure…but how can I tell the exact cause of the problem? Don’t have a CD.

Have you checked your device manager in the control panel. In there you should find what soundcard you've got and whether there's a problem with the driver.

Just for information, you should have posted this in the forum linked to below

as this is the laptops section. (Just thought I'd tell you before someone else does)

    Hope you get it sorted.

As mentioned before it's a desktop question- please ask it on Desktop Review.
    Thanks.
