My question is simple. Even though I didn't go through the whole process of using acer erecovery management, I just opened it, I selected "reinstall applications/drivers" but I stopped right after that, meaning that
I did not reinstall any applications/drivers,it just extracted the data and took me to autorun,
I believe my C drive lost a few hundred megabytes (500 - 600 mb) from this process. How to I get them back.
How do I undo selecting "reinstall applications/drivers" even though I did not reinstall applications/drivers.
System restore is off. Where is the location on my C drive where those files were extracted so I can delete that folder. Thank you.

    Acer Extensa 5620z
windows vista home premium service pack 1
    32 bit OS

No idea where the files are located but there is a good chance that they are in the Windows Temp directory(by default - C:\Windows\Temp). If I were you I'd download CCleaner and clean the temp files. I don't recommend the manual method - going into the directory and delete - because you don't know if all the files and folders there are from the same program..
