    hi guys, i'm italian and sorry for my english not perfect...
    my problem is with the cooler this laptop have a few days a problem because is hottest.
    the problem is in a gpu , when i play the temperature go to 108° C :S

    i change the driver of gpu and now i have the first driver when i bouth a laptop;
    i change the bios with the last driver but the problem isn't resolve;

    i speak with nvidia and acer forum, the nvid did me to contact the acer and the acer did me to invitee the lapton for 40€ but i dont' want.

    i find the problem is the FAN ( ventole ) can you help me please? :(
    i can't play with never game ;
    p.s. i change the termical paste.

    What's the problem with the fan?

    it doesn't work perfect. it don't go over the 728 rpm when

    i open my laptop a few days a go... i change the termical paste and cleaned the fan. :(

    If you are sure that it's the fan, not something else you could look infor a replacement fan (assuming it's a hardware issue)
    Does the fan make any noises or something else suggests that it's failing?
    How do you know the rpm?

    in this forum i found a program for the extensa 5635 Z with can i control the temperature ( but isn't correct) and the speed fan ... i'm a lot of experience with the desktop but with a laptop i can do little.

    Does the fan speed increase when CPU/GPU is under load?
    Is CPU getting hot too?

    Are you sure that the heatsink makes proper contact with GPU?
