I had this laptop for five years now and about a year ago my AC adapter has troubles making a connection with my laptop. I actually have to jiggle it around a bit to work. I looked inside the male end of the adapter and the metal lining is all black and brown. I'm thinking it could that the metal could have corroded? I've never looked inside before so it could have been like that before. Anyways, I used electrical contact cleaner and it worked for a few months, but now its getting harder to find a connection with the AC adapter. Anyone here have any suggestions on how to fix the problem? Thanks.
